The "FNP" project idea took shape right after the Panamanian government announced its big railway investment. It was a clear chance to design a brand identity that felt truly modern, forward-thinking, and full of national pride.
The logo uses sharp, dynamic shapes that instantly suggest the high-tech, fast future of this new national railway. The letters "F" and "N" from "Ferrocarril Nacional" are smoothly combined, with two angled lines to visually convey speed. Choosing navy blue was key to giving the brand a luxurious yet practical feel. This refined look also extends to the flagship locomotive, the "Estrella del Istmo."
